In her previous roles as Head of Behaviour Change & Channels at WorkSafe New Zealand and Communications and Engagement Lead at the Accident Compensation Corporation, Gemma has consistently proven that a truly strategic approach to safety communications drives measurable business outcomes – and helps bring frontline employees home to their families each day. As Communications Lead for New Zealand's All-of-Government COVID response, she played a critical role in delivering some of the lowest rates of transmission in the world.
She has won two IABC Gold Quill Awards for her work large-scale audience consultation programs.
