Dewpoint Communications Privacy Policy

Last updated August 13, 2025

Who we are
Dewpoint Communications, Inc. (“Dewpoint,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides internal communications advisory and related services. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Our website is hosted on Wix. As the site owner, Dewpoint is the data controller for visitor information; Wix acts as our service provider/processor for site operations and processes visitor data on our behalf and under our instructions.

What this covers

  • Our website and any pages we control

  • Forms you submit (newsletter sign-ups, contact forms)

  • Scheduling links and email you initiate with us

Information we collect
You provide: name, email, company, role, and the content of your messages or form entries.
Automatic: basic device/usage info (e.g., IP, browser, pages viewed) and cookies necessary to keep the site working.
From our providers: information from our email marketing, scheduling, hosting, and analytics tools (for example,
subscription status or meeting time and contact details).

How we use information

  • Respond to your inquiries and schedule meetings

  • Send newsletters/updates if you opt in (you can unsubscribe anytime)

  • Operate, secure, and improve the site

  • Comply with applicable law

How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share limited data with service providers that help us run email marketing, scheduling, hosting (including Wix), analytics, and storage. They process data under our instructions and appropriate safeguards. We may also share information if required by law.

Cookies & basic analytics
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the website secure and functional and to understand aggregate use. On Wix-hosted sites, essential cookies are set to run the site (for example, cookies used for security, session, and caching; common names include XSRF-TOKEN, hs, svSession, SSR-caching, TS*, bSession, and fedops.logger.sessionId). If we add analytics or marketing tools (e.g., GA4 or ad pixels), those may set non-essential cookies. You can manage non-essential cookies via our cookie banner (or privacy icon) and your browser settings.

Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above (for example, while you’re subscribed to our newsletter or while we handle your request), and then delete or anonymize it.

Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect personal information. No method is 100% secure.

International transfers
Our providers may process data in other countries. For website operations, Wix may store data in the United States and Ireland and may process information in other countries as needed. Where required, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are used.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe using the link in our emails.

  • Manage cookie preferences any time via our cookie banner and your browser settings. If our practices change to include “selling” or “sharing” under certain U.S. state laws, we will add a Do Not Sell/Share My Personal Information link.

Third-party links
If you follow links to third-party sites or tools (for example, scheduling or newsletter services), their policies apply.

Changes
We may update this Policy. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest version.
