Victoria Dew, SCMP® – CEO

Victoria founded Dewpoint Communications in 2017 following an extensive in-house, global leadership career. Her diverse global business experience includes more than 18 years of internal communications and engagement expertise. She has served as trusted strategic advisor to dozens of CEOs and executives in 15+ industries and sectors. A highly regarded employee experience and future of work expert in the communications profession, Victoria is a sought-after speaker and facilitator, as well as a certified coach.

Victoria is a Strategic Communication Management Professional (SCMP,) the highest global professional communication certification in the world, and the only one to achieve ANSI ISO 17024. Victoria is a past global chair of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC.) 

Sharon Menzies, SCMP® – Engagement Lead

​Sharon is a seasoned global communications leader with deep expertise in M&A, change communications, and corporate strategy. She has led high-impact teams and initiatives across North America, APAC, EMEA, and LATAM, working in diverse industries to drive strategic alignment and business transformation.

As Engagement Lead at Dewpoint, Sharon specializes in communications strategy, change management, and executive advisory, helping organizations navigate complexity and achieve their business objectives. Her extensive experience spans CEO and executive communications, employee experience, employer branding, ESG, HR, and M&A communications.

Sharon is known for her ability to execute complex, high-stakes projects from strategy to implementation, leveraging exceptional stakeholder management and team leadership. Based in Victoria, BC, she also serves as Dewpoint’s Canadian practice lead.

Sara Richmond, SHRM-SCP, CMP – Digital Channels & HR Comms Consultant

Sara Richmond has led communication and employee experience strategies both in-house and as a consultant for over 15 years. She specializes in the intersection between people, technology, and knowledge management, and she's particularly passionate about technology that enables companies to communicate and collaborate effectively. While Sara is known as 'The Intranet Lady,' she is also a Senior Certified HR Professional (SHRM-SCP) and Change Management Professional (CMP) and supports Dewpoint clients on diverse HR Comms and Change programs. Sara is Prosci Certified Change Management Practitioner.

Gemma Bevan – Senior Engagement Consultant

Gemma brings her extensive Mixternal Communications expertise in workplace safety and injury prevention to Dewpoint's clients in high-risk industries. In her previous roles as Head of Behaviour Change & Channels at WorkSafe New Zealand and Communications and Engagement Lead at the Accident Compensation Corporation, Gemma has consistently proven that a truly strategic approach to safety communications drives measurable business outcomes – and helps bring frontline employees home to their families each day. As Communications Lead for New Zealand's All-of-Government COVID response, she played a critical role in delivering some of the lowest rates of transmission in the world. Gemma has won two IABC Gold Quill Awards for her work large-scale audience consultation programs.

Simon Cavendish, SCMP® – UK Interim & Fractional Consultant

Simon provides our UK clients with interim and fractional Comms leadership support. Leveraging his nearly 20 years of experience in companies like IKEA, Springer Nature, KPMG, and Deloitte, Simon has worked with global and multinational organizations in 20+ countries across four continents. Simon has served as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, built and grown new Internal Communication functions, managed teams and led complex change and transformation programs. From crisis communications to strategic events to narrative and storytelling and ESG reporting, Simon’s breadth and depth of expertise provides robust, integrated support to every team. Simon is the current Vice Chair for the EMENA Region of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC,) and is a Strategic Communication Management Professional (SCMP,) the highest global professional communication certification in the world.

 Amanda Swennes  – Engagement Consultant

With nearly 20 years of corporate communication experience in change management, employee experience and leadership, Amanda supports Dewpoint clients in activating both large-scale strategic Ccomms programs, and delivering tactical execution. Her attention to detail, ability to connect the dots and diverse industry experience helps our clients achieve great outcomes. Amanda specializes in partnering with leaders to engage employees around business goals and thrives on building strategic communications plans and creating content that resonates with audiences, Amanda is Prosci Certified Change Management Practitioner.

Erika Wojcik – Engagement Consultant

​With more than 20 years of experience in internal and corporate communications, Erika helps companies connect the dots to better engage employees and drive business results. As a trusted advisor and collaborator, she partners with leaders to address business challenges, build connections, drive meaningful change and improve the employee experience.
